“Bruno is a 6 yr old puppy mill rescue. He has been in our home for 2 months now and we are completely amazed at the dog he has become. When he first arrived he was terrified of the stairs, didn’t know any commands, and couldn’t even jump onto the couch (I think he didn’t know he could jump). He wasn’t really sure what a dog’s life was. Within a few days he conquered the stairs comfortably and learned to sit. We have had a few issues with marking in the house (very minimal). He is potty trained, though with the cold and snow, we have had a few accidents (as with many pugs:). It took a while, but after mimicking his foster brother, he has learned what a toy is and what to do with it. Now there are tug-o-war battles and he loves to fetch. He has the energy and spirit of a puppy. He went to his foster grandparents for Christmas and played with their 2 Boston Terriers and cat. He adjusted very quickly and won over everyone’s heart. He’s very endearing and loves to cuddle. He gets very excited to eat and speaks to you when he wants attention. Unlike his foster brother, you could massage him all day. He especially loves his head rubbed. He does well with children and dogs and cats of any size. Will you give Bruno his forever home?”
